I've been borrowing dice sets for years as I haven't found a regular set that I really liked except for super expensive natural amethyst sets, other semi-precious stone sets, and of course metal sets. I decided to come back to D&D after a hiatus and wanted a set to call my own finally, but nothing too expensive as I know I'm pretty hard on my things. After going through many sites, I finally found these. The second picture is probably closest to what my dice look like and even then I would say my dice look better in person. Even though these are "plastic" dice (I'm assuming a resin or an acrylic), mine have a nice swirl pattern to them that is reminiscent of amethyst or fluorite, which is exactly what I'm looking for. They all match very well and so far they seem sturdy enough after dropping them a couple of times on the ground by accident. They are the usual light weight of plastic dice and the end points are smooth. If for some reason I ever needed a replacement set, I would definitely get these again even though it is very likely I'll be getting a natural amethyst set soon. It came with a dice bag too which was a nice surprise, especially since I had bought the wolf dice tray from here. Now my dice are extra protected and will hopefully last me a long time.
