Dice Display and Storage Case - Multicolor Prism Wizard Hat Design

For preface, I received this product for free from Easy Roller Dice Co. through their discord server's monthly Purple Dragon tournament.

I adore the design and the holographic patterning on the dark leatherette background looks fantastic under moody ambient lights at a gaming table, but unfortunately, the size just doesn't quite seem to fit their metallic sets very well. I can't speak for the stone sets, as I don't yet own one, but it was disappointing to see my metal set sit in the case unevenly, to the point where it left permanent impressions on the felt where the face of each die was pressed. The precut foam insert was a little messy, and I was worried I'd permanently deform it putting my metal dice in them, but since it's removable, that's not always a problem. Plus side, once it IS removed, it's big and flat enough it can double as a small rolling tray.

The lid holds fine, but it's a loose friction fit, so while it probably won't come off while in your pocket or bag, it opens easily enough when you need to.

Overall, I'd say it's a great choice for smaller chessex sets, or the 7 piece plastic sets from Easy Roller, but your foam insert may need some cleanup at the cut lines first.
