I found a local campaign looking for new players and I didn't want to have to borrow dice so I bought these. I figured these would be my "beginner" dice due to the price but they are surprisingly hardy! They have a nice weight, they're not metal by any means but they feel nice in your hand and the number is stamped into the face--it's not paint that will eventually chip. I've used these for about 2 months now and I would definitely recommend these for beginners. They're a great set, the price is under what it should be for this quality. I look forward to buying another set of nicer dice!
